A healthy, balanced diet is an essential component of any training programme.  If you eat a wide variety of lightly processed or unprocessed foods, you won’t go far wrong.  You need also to ensure that you drink enough water.

Running is one of the healthiest, most sustainable ways to lose weight.  Whereas diets are psychologically and often physically damaging, running is a positive and effective way to improve your appearance and health.
