This website accompanies the book, Running for Fitness. Use
these tools to help you to create your own training plan.
Whether you want to increase your fitness,
lose weight, tackle stress, or run a little faster in races, training smarter
will help you to get more from the effort you put in.

Getting started
First figure out your starting point. You need a measure of your
fitness: ideally your VO2 Max, but if not, you can use your maximum heart rate. If you are training for a race, you can use that to calibrate your training too.
